Learn from Internet Experts

June 20th, 2008

Attending events like the recent World Internet Summit in Australia help us to create the inspiration, enthusiasm and motivation to keep on purpose and take action with our internet businesses.

However the question arises…how can we maintain this enthusiasm when we are not at these events?

Master Minds, of course are one way we can do this.

You never know who in your contacts will be the next big name in Internet Marketing…maybe it could be you?

I watched a video earlier this week by Chris Zavadowski (in partnership with Jim Edwards) and he made an interesting point…that Master minds are not just about people, they are also about resources.

He pointed out that you can also Master Mind through resources (i.e. what the experts have to offer).
In other words, you can start out with their resources and build up to knowing them.

If it’s been a while since you have been at an internet event, or you need that little something to give you momentum to keep learning and taking action, then why not learn from some of the world’s best internet experts in the comfort of your own home?

You can experience this event with a great resource that is available now…World Internet Summit Australia Home Study DVDS.

This homestudy resource is the complete DVD recordings of that event and will expand your mind…and your bank account.

I know because I was there.

So go here and find out what the best hand picked internet experts who spoke at World internet Summit Australia had to say. This may be what could take your life on a very different path…your success story.

One of the most valuable tools for success

June 14th, 2008

I have talked about the benefits of the Mastermind group in a previous post and last weekend I saw and experienced more of those benefits firsthand.

Last weekend I met up with my mastermind group in Avalon Sydney. The weekend was a great success and pivotal to the continued growth in strength, commitment and purpose of the group.

There was an amazing vibe of energy that prevailed throughout the weekend and a spirit of help and support for each other in moving forward in our journey towards a collective success with Viral Spiral Marketing.

I think these words of Napoleon Hill(Think and Grow Rich) describe it best:

“When a group of individual brains are coordinated and function in Harmony, the increased energy created through that alliance, becomes available to every individual brain in the group.”

Creating our own Mastermind workshop event was a great strategy because it gave the group the opportunity to do some hands on reviewing of what we all had learnt, what progress each of us had made with our viral spiral system, any problems that had been encountered, and how we could help each other with solutions.

Getting together face-to-face involved dedicating time where everyone in the group could learn and implement. During this time each member of the group became immersed in the learning environment and were able to draw on the thoughts as well as all the skills of the members of the group e.g. technical, creative, motivational, inspiration to name a few.

Have you joined or started a mastermind group? Would love to hear how it’s going and what benefits you have noticed. Leave a comment.

How is your Internet Marketing Mindset?

May 25th, 2008

It’s taken a little while to do this next post…since attending The Freedom Class and setting up my MVS site and this Blog there has been a certain amount of confusion and overwhelm. Of course this is quite normal after attending any event or workshop where a lot of new information bombards your mind and you have to make some sense of how you are going to use it.

What I have found from going through this process a number of times is that it is important to keep your mind focussed in the right place. What I mean by this is to know where it is you want to be and the best way to do this is to ask yourself simple questions…Where do I want to be? How can I use this information to get me there?
Just be honest with your answers and don’t beat up on yourself.

The very nature of the internet is such that it constantly provides lots of distractions so it is great if you can have a simple way to keep yourself on track. I find asking simple questions can help you to take responsibility and be more accountable for your actions and therefore come closer to getting the results you want.

Going to internet events and workshops is a great way to learn and at the same time build connections and contacts with people who can help to keep you on track.

One of the best ways to do this is to join or even form Mastermind Groups. These are a very effective way to remain in contact with people you have networked with at events, match up with people who are strong in your weaknesses and utilise these skills to help each other.

Usually members of these groups get together on a regular basis, on a free conference call or skype, so that they can help each other maintain focus on what they are doing, find out what is working in the group and how the group or individuals can help each other and also promote each other. Another benefit of these groups is having instant access to joint venture (JV) partners thereby leveraging the growth of your business.

Coming out of the Freedom Class and being in a Mastermind Group has been very useful in terms of being able to work through information and find solutions to problems by working with at least one other person who also did the class. Having around 5 or 6 people in the group is even better because there are more people with different skills that can be utilised within the group.

So when you go along to events make your self known to people especially any of the experts you feel could be helpful. Don’t feel intimidated by ‘experts’ because you will find from talking to most of them that they too went through a similar process of networking and joining groups of like-minded people in order to leverage the growth of their business.

Tim Brocklehurst says that he attributes a large part of his success in internet marketing to belonging to a Mastermind group and maintaining regular weekly contact with that group to maintain focus and accountability while working towards his goals.

He still belongs to and maintains regular contact with that same Mastermind group today!

Remember, keep an active mindset, and only FOCUS on who you want to be and where you want to be!

Steps To Success

April 28th, 2008

What a great feeling…here I am creating my first blog post for my newly created blog right here and now at Tim Brocklehurst’s Freedom Class, Sydney Australia.

Wow! What an amazing few days…this is really the best way to learn, by ‘doing’ or as Tim calls it ‘action learning’.

So many things swimming around in my head right now, all the new skills and the great tips and shortcuts to creating an online business with My Viral Spiral (MVS).

The Freedom Class is a step-by-step process for creating your own online business with MVS.
During the two days of the class Tim guides and instructs each participant through the process of getting their first product up. Give it an affiliate backend, then give an opening (a shop window) with MVS.

Once going through these steps a number of times it then becomes easier to set up several products, just repeating the process with each new product.

I now have my MVS site and Products folder set up and today setting up a blog to really get things moving along in generating a flow of traffic to my squeeze pages.

Another benefit from participating in the Freedom Class is the ongoing support and accountability that will come from the mastermind groups that were formed. This means regular calls with the mastermind group providing a forum for discussion, feedback on ideas, problem solving and opportunities for joint ventures (JVs).

Watch this space for more updates on the Freedom Class and MVS as well as plenty of tips and techniques on spiral viral marketing.
